SoundEdit Pro is the industry standard for editing sound on the Macintosh. SoundEdit Pro allows you to record, edit, and play sounds from disk. Record sounds using a sound digitizer such as the Macromedia MacRecorder or the standard Apple microphone . Edit sound samples by cutting and pasting or apply one of the many special effects included in SoundEdit Pro. Open and save 8- and 16-bit sample sizes at rates up to 48 kHz and visualize these sounds using either the waveform or the spectral views.
Multimedia professionals and hobbyists use SoundEdit Pro for a wide range of applications. For example, add sound to animations created with Macromedia Director or create your own customized sound samples for fun!
